Whether the death of a loved one is anticipated or unexpected, it always has the potential for being a difficult time for loved ones left behind and those responsible for making the final arrangements.  Camino del Sol Memorial Center considers it an honor to be chosen to serve families at the time of need or by pre-planning funeral services. 

The decision to prearrange one's funeral service offers both emotional and financial benefits.  It is one of the most thoughtful ways one can express love.  Though one's own death is not always easy to talk about, taking the necessary steps to prearrange can spare unnecessary hardship and complications for those you love.  When you have made your own decisions about your final arrangements, your family will have peace of mind in knowing they have carried out your wishes.

Pre-paid funeral plans are very cost effective.  With a funded funeral arrangement, the cost of your services and merchandise selections are locked in at today's prices; the only increases that could occur are for third party items such as opening and closing fees, obituary notices, death certificates and flowers. Camino del Sol Memorial Center offers fair and competitive prices; however, due to inflation it is necessary to increase those prices periodically.  When deciding whether or not to prepay, consider that inflation at a five percent annual rate could escalate funeral costs dramatically.   The funeral that costs $6,000.00 today could cost $9,300.00 in ten years, $15,160.00 in twenty years and $24,695.00 in thirty years. 

Camino del Sol Memorial Center places your pre-need monies with Homesteaders Life Insurance, a company with over one - hundred (100)  years of experience in handling only pre-need life insurance.  The Homesteaders policy, which grows over time, is assigned to the funeral home to cover the costs of the future funeral.  If family circumstances should ever cause you to leave the area, your preneed plan and policy can be transferred to a funeral home in the new area.

Homesteaders has a choice of convenient premium payment plans to meet your needs in funding your prearrangements.   There is no charge to meet with our family service counselor or one of our directors to discuss the options available to you in planning for your final arrangements. 

If you prefer not to prepay for funeral arrangements and desire only to put in writing your wishes concerning your arrangements, we will record that information and keep it on file for your family to refer to at the time of need.  We will gladly arrange an appointment at your convenience for either preplanning or for funded preplanning.

Camino del Sol Memorial Center and Funeral Home will accept the transfer of preneed plans from other funeral homes.
