Steven Villa

Steven Villa passed away peacefully on October 5, 2024, at the age of 78 in Oxnard, California. Born on June 28, 1946, Steven lived a life marked by deep personal relationships.

Steven was a supportive husband, loving father, and grandfather, a dedicated brother, uncle, and a true friend. Known for doing things his own way, he was never afraid to embrace challenges, embodying a spirit of resilience and independence.

Steven is survived by his wife, Ana Maria Valle Villa, his first wife Ora Villa, and his three sons, Steven Villa Jr. (wife Nicky Villa), Justin Villa (wife Kristine Villa), and Quinn Villa (wife Norma Villa). He also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren, Elena and Zoe Villa, and two step-children, Natalia and Juan Smith Valle. His siblings, Roy Villa, Jack Villa, Jimmy Villa, Ken Villa, and sister Irma Santana, will hold his memory dear. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ben and Lala Villa, and his older brother, Ben Villa Jr.

A graduate of Oxnard High School, Steven later served in the Army Military Services. His career in sales spanned several cities including Oxnard, Ventura, and Santa Barbara, the latter being one of his favorite places.

Steven's hobbies were very diverse. An avid traveler not only in California, he explored many corners of the world, including Guatemala, India, Africa, Europe, and Mexico. He was passionate about outdoor activities, participating in numerous marathons such as the LA Marathon over 15 times, cycling, and of course golfing. He also cherished the time spent coaching his sons at Sunset Little League.

Steven Villa's life was filled of love, adventure, and service, leaving a lasting impact on everyone he knew.

A rosary and mass in memory of Steven will be held at Santa Clara Church at 9:30 AM (Rosary) and 10:00 AM (Mass) on Thursday, October 24, 2024. Following the services, a reception will be held at Casa Lopez Mexican Restaurant. Address: 325 S. A St, Oxnard CA. 93030
