Sandra Ferguson Hanchett

Sandra F. Hanchett passed away on the morning of September 18th, 2023.
 
Sandra was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and moved to Ventura County as a Federal employee for the Department of the Navy where she lived for over forty years. She also served briefly in the United States Naval Reserve and worked part-time for the Hueneme Elementary School District.
 
Sandra had a love of sewing, music, and poetry, and a curiosity for history and culture. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, sister, and aunt. She is survived by her sister, Hilda Webster, niece, Leslie Webster, son, Anderson J. Hanchett III, and a multitude of family and friends.
 
Sandra’s sense of humor, wisdom, and radiant presence will be sorely missed.
