Robert Gene Peter Salazar

Robert Gene Peter Salazar, affectionately known as "Robbie," was born on March 13, 1971, in Ventura, California. He was a loving father, son, brother and a cherished friend. Tragically, Robbie passed away suddenly in his sleep on June 28, 2023, leaving behind a void that will be deeply felt by all who knew him.

Robbie was a good natured, funny person and a great carpenter. Whether he was skateboarding or riding his bike around town, popping wheelies, or cruising in his car with the music bumpin', Robbie had a zest for life and found the joy in the simplest of things.

But above all, Robbie was a man of unwavering generosity and kindness.  Robbie had a genuine heart of gold and a selfless nature that touched the lives of everyone he encountered. His loyalty and willingness to support others will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Robbie is survived by his four children, Kara Salazar, Brittany Salazar, Reina Salazar Arroyo, and Bobbie Salazar; and three grandchildren. His love for his children knew no bounds.

In addition to his children, Robbie is survived by  his mother, Gloria Salazar, who provided him with unwavering love and support throughout his life. He is also survived by his two older sisters, Leticia Wilson and  Gina Jimenez, who shared in the joys and challenges of their journey together. Robbie was preceded in death by his father, Peter Salazar, whose memory he carried in his heart.

 Robbie's departure has left a void that can never be filled, but his spirit will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. May he find eternal peace, knowing the profound impact he made in this world.

A celebration of Robbie's life will be held on July 12, 2023 at Camino del Sol Mortuary at 6 PM. Family, friends, and all those touched by Robbie's kindness and friendship are invited to come together to honor his memory and share their stories.
