Michael David Crawford

Michael Crawford suddenly passed away at home on March 16, 2023. He was born August 07, 1965 in Port Hueneme, California to Richard (Dick) and Carol Ann Crawford. He was preceded in death by his parents and beloved baby girl Crystal Ann Crawford. Michael was a very giving and loving person. After graduating from Hueneme high school, he moved to Northern California where he enjoyed riding his Harley and discovering the outdoors. He eventually moved back to Oxnard and received his AA degree in engineering from ITT Tech. He worked for LUCIX Corporation in Camarillo for approximately 20 + years, was very dedicated and worked there until his death. Michael was a man of faith, a devout Christian who attended the First Assembly of GOD church in Port Hueneme on a regular basis with his two young sons David and Steven. Michael eventually reunited with his junior high school friend Christine Mack whom he married and became a loving husband and father to her young daughter Victoria. His love for Harleys never ceased and he passed that love along to his sons. He enjoyed riding every chance he got even though he suffered injuries due to a previous serious accident. If Michael wasn’t riding, he was talking about motorcycles with his very good friends Shawn and Ashley. In the last few years of Michaels life, he suffered a lot of pain and stress in his body which led to sleepless nights and constant worry about being able to care for his loved ones. He loved his family very much, family meant everything to him. He often spoke about his only sister Lori Nester and how proud he was and how much she meant to him. He always felt that he wasn’t doing enough for everyone which added to his suffering and stress. Michael leaves behind his beloved wife of 12 years Christine (Mack) Crawford, sons David Crawford, Steven Crawford, daughter-in-law Sarah Crawford, and step daughter Victoria Williamson. Also, his beloved sister Lori Nester and Mike Mings, his beloved Aunt Janet Pursley and Uncle Archie Matthews, Aunt Sharon and Uncle Charlie Brown, Uncle Ronald and Aunt Jamie Pursley, niece Tiffany and husband Chris Mayer, and their children Daniel and Andrew, Aunt Nancy Klimbal, nephew Joshua Pursley, niece Dana Pursley, step daughter Jessica Garrett, as well as numerous nieces and nephews Michael will be sadly missed by all who knew him but he will remain forever in our hearts. He is finally at peace with his baby daughter Crystal Ann. There is no more pain and suffering, his soul and spirit have been set free. Celebration of life service will be held Monday, April 3rd at 11:00a.m. at First Assembly of GOD Church 523 N. 5th St. Port Hueneme California. Graveside to follow around 2:00p.m. at Conejo Mountain Memorial Cemetery at 2052 Howard Rd in Camarillo, Ca.
