Mesa Danielle Price

Mesa Danielle Price, 26, of Hamburg passed away Sunday, January 4, 2026, at her residence in Thousand Oaks, California. Mesa was born on April 10, 1999, in Bastrop, Louisiana. She was a lifelong resident of Hamburg and had been residing in Thousand Oaks, California, for the past two months. Mesa had a warm, gentle, and caring spirit. Following her graduation from Hamburg High School in 2017, she worked as a caregiver, a role that reflected her compassionate nature and love for helping others. She enjoyed riding the back roads with her brothers, hunting, fishing, and cooking. Mesa deeply loved her family, animals—especially dogs—family activities, and spending time with her two nieces.

She is preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Marilyn Lee Laughlin and her paternal grandparents, Floyd Edward and Glenda Sue Avery Price.

She is survived by her mother, Kristi Laughlin Thurman and her husband, Justin, of Lacey; her father, Greg Price and Katy Gwin, of Hamburg; two brothers, Gunner Price of Lacey and Gage Price and his fiancée, Corrie, of Mayflower; two sisters, Cierra Price and Kylie Gwin, both of Hamburg; her maternal grandfather, Jimmy Laughlin of Monroe, Louisiana; two nieces, Calli Blankenship and Aurora Blankenship; her beloved dog, Oscar and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, January 18, 2026, in the Jones-Hartshorn Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. John Reppond officiating. Burial will be in the Mount Carmel Cemetery in Eudora. Pallbearers are Clayton Price, Greg Maxwell, Drew Riels, Cameran Evans, Jason Cox and Logan Cox. Honorary pallbearers are Bryan Price, Blaine Price, Cody Price, Steve Laughlin, Don Gwin and Bobby Joe Gwin.
