Mercedes "Mercy" Estrella

Mercedes “Mercy” Estrella 80 of Oxnard, got her wings and was greeted at the pearly gates of heaven on Wednesday October 28, 2020 surrounded by her loving family. Mercy was born in Oxnard CA on September 25, 1940 to Patricio and Rosalia Santos. She was an amazing woman who was always ready to help anyone at anytime with a smile on her face and her silly and loving personality! Mercy was a loving sister, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who spent every available moment she had with her family whether it was picking up the grandkids from school with after school snacks, calling everyone just to check in on them, or even getting everyone together for every holiday!

She is survived by her two daughters Janette and her husband Frank Delgado and Yvette Estridge, and her son Fred and his wife Kim Estrella, son in-law Lucian Arrambide, her brothers Tony and his wife Nellie Santos and Jesus and his wife Lupe Santos, 16 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and many in-laws, nieces and nephews who will all miss her tremendously. Mercy is preceded in death by her husband Freddie “Dickie” Estrella, son Joseph Estrella, daughter Eileen Arrambide, son in-law Jeff Estridge, great granddaughter Nina Estrella and her brother Alex Santos.
