Kerry Kathy Gaitan

Kerry Kathy Gaitan was born late in the night of October 11, 1950, and passed away peacefully on June 20, 2023, surrounded by family and friends.

To know Kerry was to know she lived on her own terms and said whatever was on her mind. Like it or not, she was always honest! She loved family gatherings and also loved planning other types of gatherings as well, from birthday parties and baby showers to helping in elementary school plays.

Kerry was preceded in death by her parents Raul and Ann Gaitan and sister, Maryann (William) Stover. She is survived by two older sisters, Patricia Gaitan and Judy (Ted) Thrush; a younger brother, Thomas (Theresa) Gaitan; her goddaughter, Savannah (Richard) Cobb; her niece Mary Ann Stover, and three great-nieces whom she helped raise and were like daughters to her, Brittain, Ashley and Tiana Walker; and many more nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins and more.

Our family would like to give a special thank you to her niece and caregiver Cathy (Gilbert) Villegas, caregiver Bing Compendio, and her neighbors Della and Larry Carrillo.

Kerry is truly missed and will never be forgotten.
