Jose Luis Duran Sr.

Jose Luis Duran Sr., age 57, a hardworking and loving family man, received his wings on June 30, 2021, while working at a job he was passionate about; landscaping. He was born in Michoacan, Mexico on June 26, 1964. He is survived by his wife of 30 + years, Maria.; children, Carmen, Esther, Jessica, Jose, Maritza and Bianka. In addition, he is survived by his three grandchildren, Natalie, Josiah and Jaxxon all of Venturaʼ his mother in Mexico and siblings living in California, Tennessee and Mexico, plus many, many friends. Jose lived in the Ventura area for much of his adult life and worked for PLOWBOY Landscaping company.
Jose was the type of person that lit up a room when he walked in, always joking around and making others laugh. He enjoyed the simple things in life including barbecuing. A loving father who was known as a kind and simple man who loved his wife, children and grandchildren. He will be sorely missed.
