On Monday February 1, 2021 Henry "Smokey" Aguilar, Son, Brother, Uncle, Father passed away the age of 51.
Henry was born 02/17/1969 in Santa Barbara, California but called Carpinteria his hometown. Son of Joseph "Smokey" Quiroga Sr. and Susan Mary Ponce (Aguilar). Henry is proceeded in death by son David Speers. Henry survived by Henry Aguilar Jr. and Daughter Crissy Castillo-Aguilar and granddaughter Sophia Alicia Aguilar-Ruiz. Brother Joseph Julian Quiroga Jr. and Sister Denicia Beatrice Quiroga, Nieces; Janessa, Felicia, Jessica, Nettisha, Maricia, Jessa, and Melina and Nephew Joseph, and grandson Isaac David Speer.
Henry's loved his family very much and had many loving friends. Henry was a good cook and loved to Bar-B-q for his friends and family and reminisce of old times of his childhood in Carpinteria. Fishing and camping were a lasting compassion of Henry as well as just listening to music and watching movies. Henry most memorable qualities was teasing his nieces and nephews and cold turn dull moment into roaring punch of belly laughs!
Our Brother Henry had a passion for life like no other, often known as jokester Henry was beloved and respected by many. Henry will be deeply missed but the memory of our Brother will forever be in our hearts, Love you Brother!
A memorial mass will be celebrated Saturday, 10:00 a.m., November 27th at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Ventura in Mulcahy Center.
