In Loving Memory of Fransisco “Pancho” Gomez Jr.
May 6, 1986 – January 31, 2026
With heavy hearts, yet steadfast faith in God’s promises, we announce the passing of Fransisco “Pancho” Gomez Jr., a devoted husband, loving father, cherished son and brother, and loyal friend. While our hearts grieve his absence, we take comfort in knowing he is now at peace in the presence of our Lord and Savior. Pancho was born on May 6, 1986, in Ventura, California, to Kathryn Magdaleno and Frank Gomez Sr. From an early age, he was known for his big smile, kind heart, strong work ethic, sense of humor, and generous spirit. These qualities reflected the love of Christ that guided his life. He carried those traits with humility and strength, touching everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
Above all, Pancho was a family man. He was a loving and devoted husband of 17 years to his high school sweetheart, Nichole Gomez, sharing 22 beautiful years together built on agape love, commitment, and God’s grace. He was a proud and dedicated father to his four children: Alexys, Samantha, Noah, and Jaxon. His greatest calling and joy was being a father—supporting their dreams, celebrating their accomplishments, praying over them, and guiding them with unwavering love and strength. The bond he shared with his family was the center of his world. Professionally, Pancho worked in restaurant management for 12 years before transitioning into solar and general construction. He was respected for his
dedication, leadership and knowledge. Outside of work, he loved coaching his children’s sports teams, traveling with his family, spending days at the lake, boating, and enjoying good food. Whether coaching from the sidelines, gathering with loved ones, or offering words of encouragement. He will be remembered for his smile, wisdom, humor, compassion, and strength. His presence was a steady source of comfort and encouragement, and his faith was a quiet but powerful testimony to those around him. He is survived by his loving wife, Nichole Gomez; his beloved children, Alexys Gomez, Samantha Gomez, Noah Gomez, and Jaxon Gomez; his parents, Kathryn Magdaleno and Frank Gomez Sr.; his sisters, Eileen Arredondo and Louisa Gomez; his grandmother, Eleanor Gomez; his godmother; nephews, nieces, in-laws; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear relatives and extended family who loved him deeply.
A funeral service celebrating his life and faith will be held on February 28, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Ventura Missionary Church in Ventura, California. Reception immediately following the service.
Though our hearts are broken, we stand firm in the promise of eternal life. We are forever
grateful for the love he gave. His legacy lives on in the lives he touched, in the family he
cherished beyond measure, and in the assurance that we will one day be reunited in Christ.
