Ernest Raymond Ortega

Ernest Raymond Ortega, born March 1, 1956 to Henry Ortega Sr and Felipa Rodriguez went home to be with the Lord on June 9 2024. He graduated from HHS, proudly served in the USMC, attended Oxnard College as a young man, recently attending and working for the College with the Veterans. Ernest was a people person, he enjoyed traveling, eating out, was an avid Dodger and Saints Fan. He accepted Jesus into his life in the late 90's. Focused on serving the Lord, he studied hard to have spiritual knowledge, he'd always seize the opportunity to share the word of God with all. Ernest married Ernestine on February 4th, 2000, together they shared many good memories. His wife of almost 25 years was at his bedside, she will miss him dearly but has comfort in knowing that he's gone to be the Lord, where he will patiently wait to see her again, Amen.
