Christopher Daniel Montiel

Christopher Daniel Montiel, age 30 of Oxnard, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday May 6, 2025.

He was born January 26, 1995 in Ventura, to the union of Michael S. Montiel Sr. and Elaine I. Bocanegra and had been a life long resident of Ventura County.

Christopher enjoyed going to the beach and spending time with his nephew Matthew.

He loved helping people and was so generous, he would give you the shirt off of his back or his last dime, if needed.

Chris was a member of the congregation of City Church with his girlfriend Cierra Aguilar.

He is preceded in death by grandparents, Albert and Anna Montiel; his father, Michael S. Montiel Sr., and his brother, Timothy Rubalcava Jr.

Remaining to cherish Christopher’s memory are his grandparents Flo and Linda Bocanegra; mother, Elaine Bocanegra;  brothers, Eric Rubalcava and Micheal Montiel and his nephew, Matthew Michael Montiel.

Chris will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
