Arthur Ysmael Contreras

Arthur Y. Contreras was born October 7, 1960 He was the oldest of his siblings and a life-long resident of Oxnard, CA. On Friday, April 2, 2021 he passed away suddenly, the heavenly gates opened and Jesus requested his presence.

He is survived by the love of his life his devoted wife Merci. They were blessed with daughter, Catrina (Sal) Anissa,Sal,Joel, Aleksia. Daughter Veronica (Bengie) Sasha,Arthur,Inez and Jesse. He truly adored his 4  granddaughters. And was most proud of his 4 grandsons. His loving mother- and Step Father, Erlinda and Robert Sanchez, Brothers, Richard, Jaime. Sisters, Ruby, Erica and many nieces, nephews, cousins aunts,uncles.He was preceded in death by his father, Ysmael Contreras, sister, Stella Garcia.

Arthur's sudden passing is a heartbreak to his family and to so many whose life he touched. He will be very missed and well-remembered. Services will be held Friday, April 30th @ 10am New Hope Ministries 2857 Cortez St Oxnard CA, 93036. If attending, please observe COVID-19 regulations.
