Artemio Villasenor Guillen Sr.

Artemio Villasenor Guillen, Sr., 85, of Fillmore passed away on Saturday, April 17, 2021. He passed away peacefully of natural causes.

Artemio was born on November 27, 1935 in Morelia Michoacan Mexico and had been a Fillmore resident for over 50 years. He worked most of his life in agriculture. He spent the remaining years happily retired. He enjoyed the simple things like sitting outside his home feeding and watching birds, having a quiet time watching t.v. and feeling happy when his four children were with him at home.

He is survived by his children, daughters Laura and Sandra, sons Artemio “Jr” and Mario Rene, grandsons Michael Edwin and Arthur Isaac. Additional family includes his brother Mario Guillen and nieces Patricia, Marisol, and Rocio.

Christian mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, 10:00 a.m., April 28, 2021 at St. Francis of Assisi Church with burial to follow at Bardsdale Cemetery, Fillmore.
