Jewel Lawson Obituary

Jewel Pauline Lawson, our mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend to many, slipped away to be with her beloved husband of 67 years, Lewis F. Lawson and loving daughter Jean Marie Fouchey in Heaven on April 14, 2010, at her home in Port Hueneme.

Jewel was born January 25, 1926 in Iuka, Mississippi, to William and Amber (Oswald) Nunley.

Jewel is survived by her children, Lewis F. Lawson Jr., Gary Lawson and his wife Cheryl, Cheri Krueger and her husband Jud. Gammy was a loving grandmother of 8 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

She leaves behind many wonderful memories, family and friends who will always remember her beauty, strength and grace. She will be greatly missed by us all.
