Jack Fort Obituary
Jack Maurice Fort, 82, of Ventura, departed this world Thursday, April 8, to be reunited with his beloved wife Betty Jean Fort.
Jack will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved him.
Prior to his retirement, he worked as a T.V. repair tech for approx. 30 years and for the County of Ventura Food Share Program for 5 years.
Jack is survived by his children, Gene Fort, David Fort, Julie Peacock-Sanders, Mary Harootunian all of Ventura and Laura Borchers of Las Vegas; 9 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; sister, Dorothy Farmer of Oxnard; and his sister-In-laws, Verna Hamilton of Bullhead City and Jewel Fort of Ojai.
A celebration of life will be held at Jack Fort’s residence, Saturday, 2:00 p.m., April 17, 2010.
