Fidelia Gonzalez

Fidelia Avila Gonzalez, 91, of Oxnard, passed away on Saturday, April 17, at St. John’s Regional Medical Center following a brief illness. She was born May 9, 1918, in La Vinata, Michoacan, Mexico and had been a Ventura County resident for 42 years.

She is survived by her children, Everardo Gonzalez, Ana G. Garcia, Gela G. Avila, Jesus Gonzalez, Teofilo Gonzalez, Emma Mendoza, Leon Gonzalez, Imelda G. Barbosa, Romelio Gonzalez and Maria Chavez; 59 grandchildren; 146 great grandchildren and 23 great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her sons, Guillermo Gonzalez and Calixtro Gonzalez.
