Augustin Moraga Medina age 68, passed away on Tuesday March, 16, 2010 at St. John's Regional Medical Ctr.
Augustin was born on July 5, 1941 in Phoenix, Ariz. He was an Oxnard resident for 45 years coming from Phoenix, Ariz. He was a truck driver for 35 years. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Augustin is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Celia; his children, Maryjessie of Merced, Norma, Isabel, Augustin Jr., and JoAnn Medina of El Rio; 22 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; brothers, Johnny and Raymond Medina; sister Hope Abalos all of Phoenix, Ariz. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Augie Medina; son, Edward Medina; brothers, Manuel and Ernest Medina; sister Mary Helen Penaloza. Visitation will be held from 6-9 p.m. on Sunday, March 21, with the recitation of the Rosary at 7 p.m. at Santa Clara Chapel, El Rio. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. , on Monday, March 22 also at Santa Clara Chapel, El Rio.
