Segunda Almeda Maglinao

Segunda Almeda Maglinao, 83 of Oxnard passed away July 28, 2020. Segunda was born on June 1, 1937 in Calamba, Laguna, Philippines. She was the second of seven children born to Ciperiano Almeda and Jovita Secreto. In 1960, Segunda married the love of her life, her Navy husband; Eligio Maglinao and had 2 children, Bill and Dinah Maglinao.

Segunda was a Ventura County resident for over 50 years. She loved vacationing in Las Vegas every year and going to her local Casino. She enjoyed daily phone calls with family and friends. She was a Parishioner of Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church.

Segunda is survived by her 2 children, her son; Bill Maglinao, Caia (Wife) granddaughters; Bree and Sammi and her daughter; Dinah Maglinao, grandson; Dustin Faiers and granddaughter Prissilla Sanchez.

Segunda was preceded in death by her husband; Eligio Maglinao which she has now joined in Heaven after 37 years.

A Visitation is planned for Thursday, August 6, 2020 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. with the recitation of the Rosary at 4:00 p.m. Camino del Sol Funeral Home, 200 North C Street, Oxnard, CA 93030.

A Funeral Mass is planned for Friday, August 7, 2020 at 10:00 a.m.  Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church, 463 West Pleasant Valley Road, Oxnard, CA 93033. Burial to follow at Santa Clara Cemetery, 2370 North H Street, Oxnard, CA 93036
