Salvador Viveros Lopez, querido papá, esposo, hermano, hijo, y amigo, falleció en casa rodeado de su familia el 14 de Junio, 2021, despues de una larga lucha contra el cancer. Nació en Panindicuaro, Michoacan, donde conoció al amor de su vida y futura esposa, Ana Maria Arevalo. Salvador tenia 17 años cuando imigró a los Estados Unidos a trabajar y tener una vida mejor para su familia. El vivió 41 años en Oxnard, CA, donde nacieron sus tres hijos: Jeannette, Salvador Jr., y Vanessa. El era conocido como “Chava” y tambien en su hogar como el “handyman” porque “he fixes everything.” Le gustaba pasar el tiempo en su jardin con el perro familiar, Ralphie. A Salvador le encantaba aprender cosas nuevas y trabajar duro. Por ejemplo, cuando mejoró su ingles para sacar su GED y despues su certificado de Electricidad y HVAC-R en el colegio de Oxnard. Tambien, el aprendió a tocar el saxofón y la guitarra. Salvador fue un miembro de la igelsia Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe y fue un cruzado en la Escuela De La Cruz donde fue querido y respetado por sus compañeros. Aún siendo una persona sencilla y humilde, siempre estaba dispuesto a ayudar. Nunca fallaba a echarle una mano a los que lo necisitaban, y el cariño que daba no tenia fin.
A Salvador le sobreviven su amada esposa, Ana María y sus tres hijos, Jeannette, Salvador Jr. y Vanessa; su madre Consuelo López Viveros; y hermanos, Leonardo (Bertha), Raquel (Mario), Gabriel (Teresa), Jesús (Ana), Ramón (Elva), Guadalupe (Fabio) y cuñada, Carmela. Se reunió en el cielo con su padre, Salvador, y su hermano Juan.
Se llevará a cabo una vista y un rosario el lunes 28 de junio de 5:00 a 9:00 pm en la Iglesia Cristo Rey, 535 Cooper Rd., Oxnard, CA 93030. La misa se llevará a cabo el día siguiente, 29 de junio a las 11:00 am en La Iglecia Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe, 500 N. Juanita Ave., Oxnard, CA 93030. Seguirá un entierro en el cementerio de Santa Clara, 2370 N. H Street, Oxnard, CA 93036.
Salvador Viveros Lopez, beloved father, husband, brother, son, and friend, passed away at home surrounded by his family on June 14, 2021, after a battle with cancer. He was born in Panindicuaro, Michoacan, where he met the love of his life and future wife, Ana Maria Arevalo. Salvador was 17 years old when he immigrated to the United States to work and create a better life for his family. He lived 41 years in Oxnard, CA, where his three children were born: Jeannette, Salvador Jr., and Vanessa. He was known as "Chava," and in his home as the "handyman" because he “fixes everything.” He liked spending time in his garden with the family dog, Ralphie. Salvador loved learning new things and working hard. For example, he improved his English to earn his GED and then his Electrical and HVAC-R certificates at Oxnard College. He also learned to play the saxophone and guitar. Salvador was a member of the Church of Our Lady of Guadalupe and at De La Cruz School where he was loved and respected by his peers. Being a modest and humble person, he was always ready to help others. He never failed to lend a hand to those who needed him, and the love he gave was endless.
Salvador is survived by his beloved wife, Ana Maria and three children, Jeannette, Salvador Jr., and Vanessa; his mother Consuelo Lopez Viveros; and siblings, Leonardo (Bertha), Raquel (Mario) Gabriel (Teresa), Jesus (Ana), Ramon (Elva), Guadalupe (Fabio) and sister-in-law, Carmela. He was reunited in heaven with his father, Salvador, and brother Juan.
A Viewing and Rosary will be held on Monday, June 28th from 5:00 to 9:00 pm at the Cristo Rey Church located at 535 Cooper Rd., Oxnard, CA 93030. Mass will be held the following day, June 29th at 11:00am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church located at 500 N. Juanita Ave., Oxnard, CA 93030. A burial will follow at Santa Clara Cemetery, 2370 N. H St., Oxnard, CA 93036.
