Rosalinda Zavala

Rosalinda Y Zavala "Rosie" was born on March 29,1999 in Oxnard, California to Baltazar "Jr" & Gloria Zavala both of Oxnard. Rosie walked into the loving arms of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on November 30,2017 at the age of 18. Rosie was preceded in death by her Grandmother Pauline E. Marquez.

Rosie is survived by her Parents Baltazar & Gloria Zavala both of Oxnard; Brothers Gabriel & Eduardo Zavala, Mark, Joe, & Vincent Chavez, Daniel Chavez (wife Maricela), grandparents, Baltazar R. & Edolina A. Zavala, Beloved Aunts Georgia Marquez, Veronica Vasquez, Lori Bernal, Alma Torres, Jessica Dominguez, Veronica Villasenor & Maria Perez, Beloved Uncle's George Zavala, Jose Zavala, George Dominguez. Her Beautiful Niece Paulin M Chavez and her Cherished Boyfriend David Perez, and numerous loving cousins and friends. Last but not least her long life BFF "Charlie". Rosie was currently attending Oxnard College.

While living in Oxnard, Rosie graduated from Pacifica High School in mid 2017 and set to be the starting pitcher for the Oxnard College Condors.

Rosie was an avid lover of Softball and has been playing since the age of 4. Among other talents, she loved singing and dancing, and most recently grew a passion to video filming and editing. Rosie was to follow in the foot steps of her father and become a Respiratory Therapist. Rosie's life could not be saved for the Lord had better plans in store for her.

Donations can be made to Santa Clara Cemetery in her name, and flowers sent to Camino Del Sol funeral home the day of her service.

Rosie will be greatly missed by many friends and family. She had a huge personality, wonderful smile and a beautiful spirit. Her laugh was contagious and she brought joy to anyone around her. She loved life and lived it like there's no tomorrow. She lived by her own rules and touched everyone that came in contact with her. Her funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 6,2017at 7:00p.m. at Camino Del Sol Memorial Center in Oxnard. Followed by mass Thursday December 7,2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Santa Clara Church.
