Mom was a loving wonderful person. She was vivacious. Her eyes would sparkle and her smile would greet everyone with warmth and love. People would connect with her wherever she went. She easily made friends and some were lifelong. She was spontaneous and loved to travel. She was a botanist at heart and loved gardening, the outdoors and hiking. Cooking traditional meals with family was always a high priority and always welcomed family gatherings. As a wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother, sister and friend, her love had no bounds. She was a loyal servant of God. She was a peacemaker, loved by many and will be greatly missed.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Baltazar and her son’s, Ruben and Hector. She is survived by her children: Sylvia, Alicia (husband Lupe), Baltazar Jr. (wife Laura), Jacqueline (husband Steven), John (wife Martha), Guadalupe (wife Gloria), Elizabeth, Rosemary (husband Carlos), 32 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and 1 great, great grandchild, plus 7 siblings and numerous extended family members.
We appreciate the staff support at St. John’s Pleasant Valley Hospital Sub-acute for their thoughtful dedication.
