Leesa Anne Zepp

Leesa Anne Zepp, longtime resident of Port Hueneme, CA, died unexpectedly on October 21, 2020, she was 51.

Leesa was born April 3, 1969 in Bridgeport, CT and was raised in Westport, CT. She graduated from Staples High School in 1987 and studied at Connecticut State College. She worked for several years with RGIS Inventory Management before moving to California in 2004, where she accepted a position with Iron Mountain, Inc. as a medical records storage supervisor.

In 2009, Leesa met Jesse Gonzalez and to this union Lyndon Jones Gonzalez, a delightful and handsome son was born.

Leesa devoted herself to Lyndon and together they were inseparable. Leesa left her employment to become a full time mom. The highlight of her day was volunteering at Lyndon's school, Hollywood Beach Elementary, helping the teachers and staff provide the very best educational experience for all the children. Leesa was also an active member in the schools PTA, where she served as President.

Leesa is survived by her partner, Jesse Gonzalez, son Lyndon Jones Gonzalez; parents David R. & Jennifer Jones, brother Timothy Jones, his wife MaryAnn and niece Arya Jones.

A Memorial Service is planned for 3:00 p.m., Sunday, November 15, in the chapel of the Camino Del Sol Memorial Center & Funeral Home, 200 North “C” Street, Oxnard, CA 93030. Reverend Gary Dickey will officiate and light refreshments will be served. The family encourages those who wish, to stay a while and share their memories of Leesa with her family.

Leesa’s ashes will be privately inurned in Santa Barbara Cemetery at a later date.
