Larry was full of life and enjoyed camping, fishing, watching sports “GO 49ers” and was a classic car enthusiast. Larry made friends easily wherever he went, many people looked up to him and some sought him for advice. Although he was a big and scary man with a loud voice, he was actually a teddy bear inside, that even a birthday song would bring him to tears. He loved the Lord with all of his heart and tried to live an exemplifying life whether attending church or not. He had many ministries throughout his life and was more than willing to help. We share his faith knowing that he is currently with his son Alex Pete Saldana and they both have been received by their Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ leaving a legacy behind for us to follow. Forever in our hearts.
"God Saw You Getting Tired"
God saw you getting tired
And a cure was not to be
So he put His arms around you
And whispered "Come to me."
With tearful eyes we watched you
As you slowly slipped away
And though we loved you dearly
We couldn't make you stay.
Your golden heart stopped beating
Your tired hands put to rest
God broke our hearts to prove to us
He only takes the best.
