It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of our beloved Mom Jennie Garcia.  Jennie was born August 24, 1948 in Moorpark California and resided in Oxnard California for the last 61 years.  She retired from the City of Oxnard Housing Authority after 25 years of service.  Jennie was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.  If you knew Jennie, you know she had a heart of gold and was always helping anyone who was in need.  She will be missed for her genuine kindness and for the love she had for her family, friends and acquaintances.

Jennie was preceded in death by her loving husband of 46 years Alberto Garcia, her Mother Carmen Tafoya and her favorite cousin Judy Ann Romero Garcia.  Jennie is survived by her beautiful sister Martha Berry of Lebanon Missouri, her two dear friends Maria Luna, better know as her Comadra Chavela and her best friend Mary Barajas, 4 children; Albert Garcia (Wife Christine), Patricia Garcia, Rudy Garcia (Wife Shannon) and Jennifer Cadiz (Husband Gustavo).  She also leaves behind 17 Grandchildren, Albert Jr & Bob Garcia, Brittney Tolentino (Husband Patrick), Daniel and Armando Molano, Bianca Escamilla (Husband Dario), Rudy Roy, Rudy Ray, Ericka, Andy & Joshua Garcia, Kelsey Harmon, Steven & Crystal (Fiancé Ricky) Garcia, Amber & Alex Davis, Unique Bustamante (Husband Robert), 14 Great Grandchildren and one on the way.  She leaves behind many cousins, nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly and who will miss her.

Jennie also leaves behind a legacy of wonderful memories we will cherish, you will forever live in our hearts, we love you GiGi!
