Flor Del Angel

Flor Del Angel Cabrera, age 77 of Oxnard, died peacefully in her home on Monday, June 3rd, 2019. She was born to the late Ernesto Del Angel and Carmen Cabrera on May 1st, 1942. Flor attended school in Mexico, before attending a Charter College of Accounting, where she became highly skilled in stenography and typing. She started working for The Secretary of Communications and Transports in Mexico City as an accountant at the early age of 18 years old. She grew up as a single daughter until her father re-married in her teens. She enjoyed playing games with her family as much as she enjoyed romantic music.  She married Salvador Zaragoza and had 5 Children, Adriana, Alex, Letty, Lupe and Estella Zaragoza. She divorced in the early 1970s and moved to Oxnard, California and continued to live peacefully while raising their five children on her own.   

Flor is predeceased by her parents Ernesto and Carmen; and her granddaughter Melissa Rodriguez, Oxnard, Ca.

Flor is survived by her five children, Adriana (Juan) Estrada (San Diego, CA), Alex (Diane) Zaragoza (Oxnard, CA), Letty Zaragoza (San Diego, CA), Lupe Rosales (San Diego, CA), and Estella Zaragoza (Oxnard, Ca); eleven grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and a number of other loving close friends.  The family wishes to thank all of those who cared for her during her last days, greatest and warmest appreciation to her two daughters Letty and Lupe. For those who have known Flor in her joyful journey with us, let her smile and positive attitude fill your heart with love, faith and gratitude.

Viewing from 6:00 till 9:00 p.m., with recitation of the rosary at 7:00 p.m., will be on Monday, June 10th, 2019, in the chapel of the Camino Del Sol Funeral Home, 200 N C St, Oxnard, CA 93030..  Mass celebrating her life will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 11, 2019, in Santa Clara Church, 323 South E. Street, Oxnard, CA 93030. Interment will follow the Mass in Santa Clara Cemetery, 2370 North "H" Street, Oxnard, CA.  Flowers and memorial donations may be sent to the Camino Del Sol in Oxnard, CA.
